Hotel Hvala
Welcome to Hotel Hvala, a family-run four-star hotel in the centre of the Soča valley
where you will be offered the experience of an unspoiled nature, a view into the history of
the First World War, the flavours of a seductive cuisine, one of the best places for fly fishing and
numerous sporting activities.
The hotel comprises of 31 rooms with 62 beds, the restaurant Topli val, a
storage room for sport and fishing equipment, a laundry, a sauna, a bicycle storage room, free WI-FI and
a free parking space. We also sell fishing permits and artificial flies for fly fishing. Hotel Hvala is
hiker- and cycle-friendly hotel.
The hotel staff will not only provide you with information on possible
activities, programmes, road connections and weather but also with all those small tips that will make
your holidays nicer. With its location in the center of the Soča valley, Hotel Hvala and Kobarid are a great
starting point for trips around Slovenia or to nearby Venice. In the north, you can explore the Triglav
National Park or discover the wine roads of Goriška Brda and the Karst towards the south. Visit Postojna Cave
where you can witness some of the amazing creations of Mother Nature – the stalactites and the rare olm.
From there, you can leap to lovely Ljubljana in the north or to Piran, a picturesque seaside town in the south of
Slovenia. But wherever you decide to go, the Soča valley will always convince you to return back to be embraced by
unspoiled nature and peace.
